School Food

We understand the importance of enjoying mealtimes for our children. Our teachers eat alongside the children and we use knives, forks and crockery (no plastic trays!) to encourage them to become independent eaters and enjoy new tastes and foods.

We provide Universal Infant Free School Meals to all our pupils starting in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. We encourage all children to take part in our school meal offering.

Lunches are prepared at on site by our caterers Harrison Catering Ltd and served to the children by lunchtime staff. All of our meals are prepared using fresh ingredients and provide as much variation and choice for the children as possible.

Meals are ordered by parents via the online payment system (SCOpay).

If your family receive; Income Support, Income-based Job Seeker’s Allowance, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance, Child Tax Credit plus an income below £16,190 or the Guarantee element of the State Pension Credit, your child(ren) may be eligible for Free School Meals. If you think your family may be eligible for Free School Meals contact the office and apply.

Our menus rotate on a three week cycle. In addition to the main options, jacket potatoes are available daily. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated for and we work with parents to ensure that a child’s particular needs are catered for. Please speak to the office staff if you would like to arrange an appointment.
